Total time: 4.5 hours Re-read New Roles for New Times: Transforming Liaison Roles in Research Libraries Read 1/2 of 2015 Ithaka S+R US Faculty Survey Also read 1/2 of Belief Echoes article for Honors class and worked on article with Tyler/Rob to incorporate Tyler's changes. Thoughts: No mention of librarians broad perspective--ability to see beyond disciplinary boundaries or thinking that is our advantage. At least that wasn't emphasized. Is there a dissonance between what faculty say they are doing and what librarians perceive as their potential future roles? Or is the survey geared toward what libraries are currently doing?
